\nPV-Invest GmbH (“PV-Invest”), an established company in the renewable energy sector based in Austria, announces the signing of an agreement with the Liechtenstein Group via Liechtenstein Beteiligungs GmbH (“LB”).<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, 10 March 2021, the contracts for LB’s participation in PV-Invest were signed by both parties. The investment will be made through a capital increase\/equity injection and through the acquisition shares from the current shareholders. After the transaction, the Liechtenstein Group will hold around 42% of the shares in PV-Invest. The majority of the shares will remain under the control of the managing directors of PV-Invest. The equity injection of around 15 million euros is intended to enable PV-Invest to accelerate its expansion in the currently fast-growing market for the construction and operation of photovoltaic systems.<\/p>\n

The closing of the transaction is expected in 3-5months. The completion of the transaction will amongst others be subject to merger control clearance in Austria and North Macedonia.<\/p>\n
