Klagenfurt, October 7, 2019. PV-Invest GmbH, one of the established photovoltaic companies in Austria, is issuing a green bond with two maturities (7 years: ISIN AT0000A2A1L7, WKN A2R7GQ), (10 years: ISIN AT0000A2A1M5, WKN A2R7GR). The start of the drawing is October 7, 2019
The total volume of the issue is up to 15 million euros. As in previous years, investors can choose between a seven-year term with an annual interest rate of 4.15% or a ten-year term with an interest rate of 4.5%. With a denomination of 1,000 euros, the Green Bonds are designed for both private investors and institutional investors.
Since its foundation, PV-Invest stands for sustainable and profitable investments in photovoltaic and small hydropower plants. An essential part of the corporate philosophy is aimed at combating climate change and its consequences. In September 2019, the company was first rated by the Austrian rating agency rfu and achieved the status “rfu Qualified” in the sustainability rating with an above-average rating result of “ab”.
The company will invest the proceeds of the bond issue primarily in new PV power plants. “We have a large number of interesting photovoltaic and small hydropower projects, mainly in Central and Eastern Europe, available, which allow us to further strengthen the portfolio,” said Günter Grabner, CEO of PV-Invest GmbH.

The issue is based on the securities prospectus (including all supplements) which has been published and approved on November 6th, 2018 by the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier in Luxembourg (CSSF) and notified to the Finanzmarketaufsicht (“FMA”) and the Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht (“BaFin”).
About the company
PV-Invest operates in the renewable energy sector and, with its subsidiaries, produces electricity from photovoltaic and small hydropower plants. The company currently has some 30 MW of existing properties in operation. Furthermore, the company plans and builds PV power plant projects in Europe and the MENA region. The balance sheet total as at 31.12.2018 amounts to 72.2 million euros.
