Last Wednesday, 09 May, Mr Grabner was invited to the Financing Exhibition “The Green 100”, at the Atelierhaus of the Academy of Fine Arts. The platform “The Green 100” of the Austrian Climate and Energy Fund serves as a launch pad for innovative projects and ideas in the field of sustainability and climate protection. The initiative offers companies a unique opportunity to network, share success stories and make a joint contribution to climate protection.
The Financing Exhibition also provided space for exchange between representatives from business, politics and research. In discussion rounds, topics such as the role of investments in the energy transition, cooperation between start-ups and established companies, and the importance of innovations in climate protection were discussed.
In this context, Mr Grabner, as a financing expert with many years of experience in financing renewable energies, had the opportunity to discuss suitable financing models for “green” companies together with other experts such as Nina Dohrau (Austria Wirtschaftsservice), Carmencita Nader (Erste Bank der österreichischen Sparkassen AG), Eva-Maria Weidenthaler (GLEAM Bikes) and Nina Wöss from the Austrian Private Equity and Venture Capital Organisation (AVCO). Mr. Grabner emphasised the central role of solid financing to advance green projects in the country. Through his many years of working in the banking and finance sector, unique opportunities arose when PV-Invest was founded that others were not able to seize at that time. The Financing Exhibition “The Green 100” has thus been a successful step towards a sustainable future and has shown that investment in green projects and cooperation between business, politics and research are indispensable to ensure a liveable environment for future generations.
