Klagenfurt, September 6, 2019. The audited annual financial statements of the PV-Invest Group for the 2018 financial year have been published. The portfolio was further expanded and the growth trend continues.

In the 2018 financial year, the issuance of PV-Invest bonds further increased corporate activities. In addition to the increased activity in the EPC and contracting business by the subsidiary KPV Solar, the existing portfolio could also be expanded.

As of the balance sheet date December 31, 2018, the group balance sheet total was EUR 72.2 million. The operating performance of the PV-Invest Group grew by 27% compared to the previous year to EUR 13.9 million. The EBIT amounts to EUR 2.83 million and leads to an EBIT / operating performance ratio of 20.4%. Equity (including subordinated liabilities) decreased to EUR 5.6 million (previous year: EUR 6 million) due to currency devaluations caused by geopolitical tensions in the Gulf region. The power plant portfolio of the entire group included PV power plants with a total output of 30 MW in 9 countries at the end of the business year. This corresponds to an increase of 4 MW and an entry into a new market.

At the beginning of 2019, the first photovoltaic power plants were put into operation in Hungary. In Bosnia – in addition to the existing small hydropower plants – a first photovoltaic power plant was also implemented. Furthermore, the construction of a small hydropower plant in North Macedonia has started, which will go online in 2020. In Slovenia, the Komin photovoltaic power plant acquired shortly before the end of the year was largely destroyed in a fire in the factory building below. The PV system is fully insured. Therefore, no economic disadvantages are expected. In addition, the PV-Invest power plant bonds 2019-2026 and 2019-2029 were included in the Corporates Prime segment of the Vienna Stock Exchange.
