Günter Grabner

Günter Grabner is the founder and one of the managing partners of PV-Invest with over 30 years of experience in international financing. Since ts foundation in 2009, PV-Invest stands for the generation of energy from sustainable sources. The company develops innovative investment models for private and institutional investors with the aim of building highly profitable photovoltaic power plants together with banks and financial institutions.

The business administration graduate from the University of Graz is a well-respected financial expert with over 14 years of experience at Austria‘s largest bank, where he held various management positions in Vienna, New York and Carinthia. He was responsible for key account management for both private and commercial customers, for national and international risk management, consolidations, as well as acquisitions and restructurings. During this time, he gained extensive knowledge in the entire financial and banking industry.

Before founding PV-Invest, Günter Grabner based on his extensive experience in the financial sector and his international network, operated a consulting company for small, medium and large companies and became a certified consultant to the Carinthian Economic Promotion Fund. He is now fully dedicated to the sustainable growth of PV-Invest.

Gerhard Rabensteiner

Gerhard Rabensteiner studied business administration at the University of Graz and has been looking back on a successful career in industry since 1985. After 15 years at Philips Electronics with stations in Austria and the Netherlands, he began to focus on renewable energies in 2000.

He spent the next six years as Managing Director of GREENoneTEC Solarindustrie GmbH, where he played a key role in making the company one of the world‘s leading suppliers in the solar thermal market. In 2006 Gerhard Rabensteiner was co-founder of KIOTO Clear Energy AG, which today, under the name KIOTO Photovoltaics, has advanced to become the largest Austrian PV module manufacturer. Most recently, he was also a member of the company‘s management board and responsible for the photovoltaics division.

Between 2007 and 2010 Gerhard also became president of ESTIF (European Solar Thermal Industry Federation) where he advised the European Commission on renewable energy issues. As co-founder and managing partner of KPV Solar GmbH with its international consulting experience, he is continuing the chosen path of solar energy. In 2016 Gerhard merged KPV Solar GmbH with PV-Invest and has been Managing Partner since then.

In his private house Gerhard and his family have been benefiting from solar energy for 3 decades.
